"... Oh, Hi! You're talking to Rakka, but, uh, if you're hearing this then it means I can't answer the pokegear right now. Don't worry. Just make sure you leave a message and I'll reply to it!"
Beep!
maybe a flightless one
[She shudders a bit. War flashbacks of last april fools day come rushing back to her. Thanks, Penny.
Rakka's quite content to let a moment of silence wash over both of them, so she can just take in the fall scenery... and Penny, of course. She never really noticed how that one hair stands up on top of her head.]
...Huh? [Rakka blinks back into focus.] Oh... uh, thank you, Penny.
[A short pause.]
And... You should know that you're real, Penny, and you matter. And no matter what, I'm not going to leave you just because you weren't a Human before.
[Seems they both have things to say.]
Hawlucha can learn Fly, but imagine
[She goes still a bit as Rakka speaks, taking a long, long drink from her mocha. She comes away with a small dot of whipped cream on her nose, which she hurriedly scrubs away.]
I- thank you. I knew that. I mean, it's not something I ever worried about, ever. [hic] I- like I said, you're a really good friend. Everyone here has been, I know people don't leave because they choose to, or-
[Penny takes another quick, avoidant sip of her drink.]
Um- did. Something specific. Make you think about that?
wrestler rakka? yes
[Suddenly, Rakka's more keen on looking into her cup of tea then Penny.]
...I wasn't thinking of anything specific. [Rakka sips tentatively from her cup. She doesn't hiccup like Penny does, so her tells are less visible when she lies.] Well, I mean, when I was in that strange forest, I was having some really bad dreams. Dreams about friends, and other people. And... it just feels like I should tell you that, you know?
[Even before that, but her little forest "adventure" definitely left an impact.]

[Penny looks down at her drink for a moment.]
I should probably tell you- I was. Thinking of something specific. One of those dreams. About you.

[...]
Me too. I mean... I had a dream, about you, too. I mean, I think it was about you.

Something like that. There were a lot of faces, and some things happened that I don't understand...

[She pauses for a moment, creeping suspicion filling her.]
Nevermind. I think I know. We probably shouldn't talk about it here.

Alright. Um. [Her fingers tap against the table.] Do you want to talk about something else?
